Butterfly Gala Simple Notecards

These quick and easy cards are handy to keep on hand for a quick thank you or “thinking of you” note. I was looking for something fast after the holiday crafting overload of the last few weeks!

They use two of the free gifts available during Sale-A-Bration 2019 along with the Gingham Gala Suite from the new Occasions catalog.

The card bases are standard Whisper White card stock scored at 4.25″ and cut at 5.5″.

The fronts are cut from the Botanical Butterfly DSP in 4″ x 5.25″. Watch carefully, as particularly the green paper has a definite direction to it.

The sentiments are 1.25″ x 5.25″.

Dandelion Wishes

This simple card is high impact, and a go-to for friendship notes.

I set up the Stamparatus with the dandelions and sentiment on one plate, and then the Bokeh Dots on a second plate. I was able to make 20 of this card in about 30 minutes.

One great feature of the Stamparatus is that if you have an uneven stamp, or miss a small part of a sentiment, you can just go right back over the original stamp.

This is a great beginner card, and one I use regularly as a “warm up” in a class to help folks get comfortable. These are really pretty and simple, and when I shared them with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, this quickly became one of my most liked posts ever!

Clean and Simple

Sometimes the simple, clean cards are the ones that make my heart happiest. This quick and easy project highlights the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and the new Double Stitched Ribbon. The ribbon is super fun because it has X’s on one side and dashes on the other. I used glue dots behind the center of the bow and both tails, and it held up well in the mail.

If you don’t have Night of Navy paper and ink, Dapper Denim is a close match instead. Here is a horizontal and vertical variation:
